These are extracts from a diary of a traveler- not a tourist but one who travels for work. Country to country, region to region, village to village. Starting this in January 2008. May be little too late, after 10 years on the road, nearly 30 countries. In this blog I will be sharing with you what I see, what I hear and what I think. My experience first hand. So what you get here is .........INSIGHT OF WHAT'S IN SIGHT

Once at an interview a few years ago in assessing my general knowledge about the country and to see whather I was fit to carry the Sri Lankan tag to the world, I was asked by a sri lankan(nonetheless) what the main imports of SL were?
I answered "Tea, Coconut and Rubber" the fact we had learned fron kindergarten. Well he prompted me to think about my answer again. Still I was adamant. And the examiner finally said that "our main import is women(for labour)"!And it was important that we all remembered from where our Forex comes from...
You are right, I still remember -it used to be, "Te, Pol, Rubber"
Excellent! keep writing. You are indeed making a difference.
